Shelby from Alabama

Shelby, born in 2005, is in need of a loving home that will be able to address and assist her with her medical issues moving forward. Shelby has a wonderful personality, and loves to show affection to those who have been there for her. Shelby is nonverbal, but communicates through body language, and is able to show compassion and empathy. She is a loving child who is in need of a family who is willing to meet all of her needs with love, caring, and understanding. Shelby touches all the lives of those who have been involved in her life. She will need a dedicated family who has experience caring for and loving a child who will require near 24/7 supervision for the remainder of her life. Any adoptive family will have to be aware and willing to make this commitment to Shelby for life.
