Martin from Bulgaria

Martina was born prematurely in October 2015. She has an unrepaired cleft lip and possible cleft palate, strabismus, and global developmental delays. Our in-country partners are attempting to obtain additional detail about Martina’s diagnoses.

Martina lifts her head briefly on her own, fixes her gaze on objects for a short time, and reacts to loud noises. She cannot hold toys in her hands and does not appear to understand what is being said to her. She sleeps calmly and is fed with a bottle.
