Vaughn from Bulgaria
Vaughn was born with first degree prematurity in October 2015. He has been diagnosed with background retinopathy, right-sided cryptorchism and hernia, and delayed development. A diagnosis of hydrocephalus has been rejected through computer imaging.
While some of his medical reports state that Vaughn is blind in both eyes, other portions note that he tracks with his eyes, independently finds and reaches for toys, plays with toys for long periods of time, and especially enjoys bright colored objects.
Vaughn can sit independently, rolls and crawls. He is a generally calm little boy, but may get irritable, restless and sad from time to time with no discernible reason or during a change in routine or removal from his comfort zone. Vaughn enjoys the company of other children and tries to interact with them. He recognizes familiar adults, laughs at jokes and seeks physical closeness. He eats and sleeps well.
Vaughn is a sweet little boy who needs a loving family and proper early intervention services to thrive.
