Frank from Idaho

Frank is a wonderful teen best described by those who know him as creative, calm, quiet, polite and someone who gets along well with others. This intelligent young man enjoys drawing and reading and is a big fan of Science Fiction, with his current favorite series being Agents of Shield. Frank has a real knack for crafty and technical things like building stuff from wood. He’s also super skilled at taking thigs apart and putting them back together, especially when it comes to computers! He prides himself on being an “out of the box thinker” and it’s easy for him to get really immersed in things like computer coding, playing computer games and making cool things with a 3D printer. Frank plans to one day become a mechanical/computer engineer or a design manufacturer. When it comes to other activities, Frank is well-rounded and open to trying new things. Though he’s not much for playing sports himself, he does enjoy watching football and soccer, and hopes that’s something that he can share with his Forever Family. He’d like to take up dirt biking and has a goal of building his own awesome dirt bike someday! Frank loves to travel and learn about new places. He’s already been to London and Germany and hopes to visit Australia but is also excited for normal family vacations spent exploring fun things closer to home. Frank counts the 4th of July as his favorite holiday and that he’s hoping to be with his adoptive family by then so that he can enjoy a family picnic and watching the fireworks together! To sum it up, Frank says that he is really just looking forward to doing “anything and everything a normal teen would do with their family.” Frank and his Permanency Team are interested in hearing from any Idaho families, as well as out of state families, who feel that they may be a great fit for him. An active, trauma informed family who is fun and spontaneous, but also provides structure and a calm home environment, would be an incredible match for him! Frank would like a family who does not regularly attend church and needs caregivers who are good listeners, in order for him to feel supported as he navigates the difficult everyday things that come along with being a teenager, as well as the on-going need to continue processing his past grief and loss. Frank is an amazing teen with an exponential amount of potential!
