Jonathan from Idaho

With dreams of one day going to trade school, Johnathan is hoping to find a Forever Family that will cheer him on and support him as he achieves his goals! This sharp young man may say school isn’t easy for him, yet he still strives to work hard and succeed. Though school may not be Johnathan’s favorite thing, he has really enjoyed making friends and participating in sports. He has played football and even done some wrestling. Johnathan would say weight training and physical fitness is a passion of his and enjoys building muscle, even if that means enduring a painful leg day workout! Johnathan shares that he is an active boy and enjoys spending time outside riding his bike, hiking, and snowboarding in the winter months. He can also be very mellow and doesn’t mind playing being by himself watching his favorite You-Tubers, singing to the radio, and playing video games. Johnathan shared he would like to travel with his future adoptive family. He would like to go to Italy, because of his Italian background! Those that know Johnathan would say that he is more on the extroverted side and is very respectful to those around him. He has really enjoyed going to church youth group and would like a an Adoptive Family that will let him explore faith and religion. Johnathan’s permanency team is looking for an adoptive family that has a strong understanding of childhood trauma and how it can affect daily activities. Johnathan would thrive in a home that provides consistency for him. He would do well as the youngest or oldest sibling in a two-parent home.
