Alex

from Pennsylvania

Alex may seem quiet when you first meet him but don't let this initial shyness fool you? it won't take long for him to show his talkative and thoughtful side! When asked what he'd like families to know about him, he said ?I'm funny, I'm a computer geek, and I like music.? He recently became a fan of musical artist MGK, but he has enjoyed old-school music in the past as well. Marvel comics and movies are something that he is a huge fan of and really into as well, and he loves talking about the different characters and storylines. He's creative and enjoys video games where he can build things. He's also intelligent and loves to read, and one of his favorite series is the Alex Rider spy novels. He knows a lot about mythology in different cultures and enjoys learning more about his subject. He likes watching football, basketball, and wrestling, and some of his favorite teams are the Eagles and the Cavaliers. Alex thrives when he stays active in the community, whether bowling or working out at the YMCA. Alex would enjoy spending time with a family who would take him out to eat at a buffet (especially if it was Chinese food, shrimp, or tacos!). He'd also enjoy bike rides, joining a family game, or a movie night. He believes being a part of a family is essential because it means you have someone ?to talk to and someone that cares about you and someone to have fun with.? Alex would likely benefit from having a positive male role model or older youth in his life, but all families will be considered. Maintaining a connection with his birth family is important and would be a kind gift to him. He's great with pets but a little wary of larger dogs. Parental rights have not been terminated for Alex; however once a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
