Elijah

from Pennsylvania

Elijah is an intelligent, caring and active youth who has a love for learning new things and discussing some of his favorite topics - sports and video games! If you were to ask him what his favorite sports were, he would have a hard time choosing between boxing, football and basketball. Elijah would love the opportunity to play basketball on an organized sports team or take boxing classes. He also loves talking about teams and players stats as he has a wide depth of knowledge on the subject. Elijah enjoys being outside in the fresh air and exploring the community; however, he does enjoy spending time inside playing video games and watching movies, too. Elijah also has a great fondness for superheroes, so don't be surprised if he asks, ?Who is your favorite superhero?? There is no wrong answer but be prepared to explain your choice. This is what makes Elijah open to new ideas as he enjoys exploring other people's thoughts. Elijah has a kind soul and remembers the little things about a person that others may overlook or take for granted. He is the first one to ask how your day is going and is far from shy. Elijah enjoys connecting with people and having uplifting conversations. He is an affectionate, sweet, and caring youth and expects big hugs from the people he knows. When asked what type of family Elijah would like, he stated that he would enjoy a family who likes to ?do things? and be active, but also wants a family that does ?family things? like play board games and have family dinners. At the core of it, Elijah just wants a family who will show him unconditional love, not give up on him, and accept him for who he is. Elijah would do best with a family who will provide him with love, support, consistency, and structure. He would do well in a single female home without other children, but would be open to considering alternative options. Elijah has a close relationship with his twin brother and an older sibling who reside in separate homes in the Southeastern region of Pennsylvania. He is looking for a family who would support him in maintaining those relationships. Parental rights have been terminated for Elijah. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Jennifer Mitchell, via telephone or email jlmitchell@bethanna.org.
