Giovanni from Pennsylvania

Giovanni, or ?Gio,? will win you over with his fantastic sense of humor and his witty comebacks! He wants any family interested in meeting him to know he uses sarcasm as a coping skill and a way to communicate when he feels uncomfortable. He's got a great sense of humor, and as you get to know him, you'll see his warm personality and positive attitude. When asked what he likes to spend his time doing, he responded ?I like to be active.? He enjoys being a part of a team: he's been on a wrestling team, basketball team, and would like to one day be a part of a rugby team! He loves to snowboard and be outdoors. He holds himself to high standards: he's committed to eating healthy and living an active lifestyle. While he'd rather spend his time being active or on an adventure, he admits that he still enjoys lounging on the furniture while playing video games or watching a good action-packed movie. When asked if he likes school, he said he doesn't mind it and likes to surprise people with his smartness. His favorite subject is biology. He wants to attend college and become a physical therapist. Gio has older siblings whom he would like to remain in contact with? he especially has a strong connection with his older brother. He's had the opportunity to have visited over holidays; those visits mean the world to him. When talking about a family, he mentioned he would like to be an only child or have siblings who are much older than him, although he and his team will consider all types of families.
