Ivy

from Pennsylvania

If you love K-Pop, Ivy is the girl for you. Ivy loves learning about South Korean culture, especially K-Pop. Ivy is even teaching herself to speak Korean and she hopes to become fluent in order to travel to South Korea one day in the future. Ivy is a reserved young lady with great manners. Ivy is exceptionally smart and takes her education very seriously and would like to be a doctor one day. Ivy enjoys spending her free time watching videos online, singing, drawing, and she even writes poetry. She also loves to bake and do crafts. Ivy considers herself a "homebody" and if she had to choose, she would rather snuggle up on the couch and watch movies than go out. She also has a list of activities she would like to try one day and would like a family to share those experiences with! Ivy is open to single-parent or two-parent households, and she has said that she would prefer to be the only child in the home. She also does well with animals! Ivy will thrive with a patient family who will support her as she transitions into adulthood. Parental rights have not been terminated for Ivy; however when a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Cori Schiffert, via telephone or email cschiffert@northernchildren.org.
