Jack from Pennsylvania
Jack is a friendly, polite, and talented young man who is looking for a family to call his own. He likes classic rock music, birthday presents, pepperoni pizza, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jack is very self-aware and says he is doing well in therapy. Overall, he is very proud of himself for his commitment to change. Jack is an avid reader and his favorite book is Papertowns by John Green. He also likes drawing, listening to music, and playing video games. Jack likes sports and will often grab a game of basketball with his friends for fun. Jack is also a writer. He likes writing song lyrics about life, and he wants to be a published author someday. After high school, Jack would like to attend college and pursue a career in architecture. Jack has shared that he would like a two-parent family with a strong father figure. He would like to have an older sibling so he could have someone to look up to. He is open to any location, but would like a neighborhood with other children. Jack is not yet legally free for adoption, however when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
