Jim is described as smart, kind and caring. He is an avid animal lover and according to Jim, animals are very therapeutic and at times can help calm him down in stressful situations. Jim enjoys wrapping change, playing the card game, Magic, the board game, Monopoly, and watching ?Pokemon.? Some of his favorites includes the color blue, and pizza. He does consider himself a picky eater as there are a variety of foods that he does not enjoy eating such as vegetables, tomatoes and certain meat. Jim is unique because there is no one else in the world like him. He can bring love and happiness to a family. He is creative and would not mind decorating the house or his own room. He enjoys cooking and would love to cook next to his future family. He enjoys helping others thus chores are not an issue for him. If Jim was given a day to do whatever he would like, he would take every kid who is in placement and give them a day of fun, love, and happiness. He would like to give kids in placement new experiences such as going to an amusement park, playing at the beach or even going camping. He is such a kind-hearted kid who would give the shirt off his back for someone else.
In regards to family, he wants them to value time with him and each other. Jim wants to feel comfortable in their home and wants to feel loved. He loves hugs and people telling him they love him. He feels loved when someone listens to his concerns or interests. He wants a family to help him face his fears such as heights and open bodies of water. According to Jim, ?My childhood was taken from me. I never had a normal childhood, a real birthday party or even had the experience of having sleep overs with friends. I would love a family to give me new experiences such as fishing, going to arcades or cheering on a sports team in the bleachers.? Jim is open to all family dynamics and is non-judgmental when it comes to sexual identity, religious affiliations, and race. He would like to have animals within the home and to be an only child unless he had an older sibling he could look up to. Jim is ready for that next step in his life and will be a great addition to any family.
Parental rights have not been terminated for Jim; however, when a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
