Luke

from Pennsylvania

Luke is an intelligent and active young man looking for and who needs a permanent family. He describes himself as ?a decent kid who's nice and cares about others a lot.? He's a friendly guy who enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing video games, especially if they're fast-paced and action-oriented. He appreciates his own space and would love to have his own room if possible; that way, he has a place to go and get his alone time to decompress as needed. Luke does very well in school and is enrolled in honors-level classes. He especially loves subjects related to Information Technologies (IT). He's hoping to obtain a job in the IT field when he's older, and he currently enjoys his IT studies at his local career and technology center during high school. Luke says his ideal family situation is a peaceful place with little family drama, although he'd prefer a home with other kids close to his age if possible. He has biological siblings he hopes to stay in touch with after permanency. He primarily has such contact via social media and phone presently and would like to continue this into the future. Parental rights have not been terminated for Luke; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Heather Ebersole, via telephone or email hebersole@pressleyridge.org.
