Melvin

from Pennsylvania

Melvin is an intelligent, kind, and polite young man eager for placement with a loving family! Like most kids his age, he enjoys listening to music and playing video games and hands-on activities, like arts and crafts. Outside, he likes going for walks, riding bikes, and being adventurous. He's friendly and sociable and enjoys being around others and conversing. He communicates his thoughts and feelings well and is open to sharing things about himself. Once he gets to know you, he can be quite the jokester! He likes traveling and has been to various places, including big cities, and he thought these experiences were a lot of fun! Most of all, he fondly recalls his experience at the beach and would love to travel there again with a family. His favorite foods are fries, hot wings, and stuffed-crust pizza. He's not big on desserts but does occasionally eat candy. He likes to play with LEGOS blocks and loves sports, particularly hockey, basketball, and NFL football (he hopes to one day go to a game!). He enjoys superhero-themed TV and movies like Doctor Strange, Captain America, and Buzz Lightyear. He also enjoys the movies ?Turning Red? and ?Home Alone.? He's doing well in school and loves social studies, reading, and math. He takes pride in his spelling skills, too! He has high hopes of attending college. Melvin's eager for the next chapter of his life: placement with a safe and loving family. He's looking forward to getting acclimated to a new school, making new friends, and living in a safe neighborhood with great parents. Do you think you might fit that bill? Parental rights have not been terminated for Melvin; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
