Nelson from Pennsylvania

Nelson is a polite, generous, enthusiastic young man who always has a smile on his face. Nelson has a distinct, infectious laugh that brightens up the room. He enjoys being around people and is grateful for even the smallest things. Nelson's favorite thing to do is build LEGOs. He follows assembly instructions precisely and carefully puts them together. His favorites are always Superhero sets, especially Iron Man, Spiderman, and Batman. He carries his favorites with him; don't be surprised if he pulls a fully constructed Iron Man out of his backpack. He also enjoys watching TV shows and movies that involve superheroes; the Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles or Transformers. Nelson would love any activity based around any of these characters whether it's coloring, building a puzzle, or other crafts. A new interest of Nelson's is listening to music on his mp3 player. He listens to all kinds of music. Nelson also enjoys swimming, playing basketball, and just being outside when it's sunny. He likes being out and about on day trips, especially those that involve stopping for a meal or a snack. Nelson enjoys attending school; his favorite subject is math, and he also likes gym class. He often volunteers for extra tasks and enjoys helping his teachers and peers. He likes both the academic and social aspects of school. Nelson has contact with several family members; it is important to him to maintain those relationships. Parental rights have been terminated for Nelson.
