Rain

from Pennsylvania

Meet Rain who has a myriad of interests; from their love of animals and nature to the Renaissance Faire to watching horror movies and playing video games. They also have a personality that will WOW you! In order to fully understand the passion that Rain has for their interests you will need to meet them, but we will attempt to summarize here. Rain values nature and the calmness it brings to them. You will need to be careful entering a greenhouse as they may bring one home to add to their collection. Although you could also go for a hike in the woods with Rain to propagate new plants. Rain has a goal to hike and travel through all of the national parks and travel out of the country. A family who lives in the countryside and has animals would be a great fit for Rain. In terms of music, Rain is open to a little bit of everything but is drawn to rave music, EDM, rock and metal. They have been to many Warp Tour concerts in the past and would enjoy a family that would be open to attending with them. If they could have one wish, they would want unlimited concert tickets to Glass Animal Band; however, they would also love to attend concerts by Ashnikko, Cosmo Shelter, Labyrinth, and Mother Mother. The shortened version of their music interest they described as ?Music, it is my biggest thing I could go on and on about it. Music is just?.mmm just delicious.? Not only is Rain a huge fan of music but also musical theater. Rain would love to see any Broadway musical in person but is connected the most to ?Heathers? and ?Great Comet of 1812.? While Rain has made progress in their independent living, they continue to work towards achieving their goals. Rain shared that ?I refuse to let the circumstances I was given hinder my ability to obtain a quality education.? They desire for healthy connections and relationships that will help them in navigating through their life goals. Rain has expressed wanting to attend a medical course in order to obtain their Emergency Medical Services or first response after obtaining their GED. A family that has experience or a willingness to teach Rain how to navigate through applications and identifying the best course of action would be beneficial. Rain values having their own space and wanting others to respect them and the boundaries they have. Connections and relationships that they have are very important to Rain and a family that can support these connections is important. Rain shares that they ?are not an intense kid, I'm low maintenance. Just respect my space, respect me and respect my possessions. Mutual respect is important to me.? Due to Rain's age, termination of parental rights is not required in order for adoption to occur.
