Shamaani

from Pennsylvania

Shamaani is an intelligent, sweet, and independent older teenage girl. She loves taking care of herself, getting her hair and nails done, and getting dressed up and going out. Shamaani's favorite food is chicken caesar salad, and yes, there is such a thing as a bad salad. Once Shamaani graduates from high school she plans on going to university and pursuing a law degree. While Shamaani describes herself as an introvert and prefers to spend her time by herself, she is willing and open to look for a family to provide her with support and stand by her side as she embraces adulthood. She would love to successfully live independently during college and needs permanent adult connections to help her with this goal. If you are willing to be that adult or family to provide permanency in her life, please consider having your worker reach out for more information. Shamaani has a close relationship with some of her birth family members, specifically her brother and her grandmother, whom she has regular contact with in the southeastern PA area. She would love to be able to maintain this contact in some way. Parental rights have been terminated for Shamaani. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Jamila Turnbull, via telephone or email jamila.turnbull@net-centers.org.
