Jean

from Taiwan

March 2023 update – Since these siblings have not matched with a family, Taiwan is willing to consider placing these children with more than one family. We are excited to introduce siblings Jensen and Jean! Jensen was born in 2016 and is 6 years old. Jean was born in 2017 and is 5 years old. Jean likes to doodle with crayons and play with building blocks! Those who know her describe Jean as lively and not shy around strangers. Jean will take the initiative to approach unfamiliar children and play with them. Jean has epilepsy and right hemiparetic cerebral palsy diagnoses with global delays. Jean attends weekly PT, OT and speech therapy sessions. She has made progress with her speech and can now imitate saying "no no", "bye bye", "yes", and "thank you"! Jean is enrolled in preschool and attends special education classes. While Jensen and Jean live in separate residences, they have met each other on a couple of occasions at events sponsored by their social welfare agency. Are you a family that can provide the support to both siblings’ individual needs and provide an enriching environment where they can build a relationship with one another? Go on adventures and watch movies with Jensen? Have the patience and time to support Jean develop into her full potential? If you think you could be the right family for Jensen and Jean, please contact us at Superkids@gladney.org to review their profiles. To protect a child's privacy, Taiwan has strict rules limiting public photos of children. To see more photos of Jensen and Jean, request to join Gladney's PRIVATE Taiwan Waiting Child Advocacy group on Facebook.
