Alexander from Texas

Alexander is an active child who enjoys playing games. Whether outside playing with his ball or just playing, he prefers always to be engaged in something. Alexander also loves playing games on his iPad and listening to music and usually spends time doing that alone. He is non-verbal. However, there are some words that he'll say, but it's usually when you say hi or bye to him. Alexander is easy to get along with and makes friends easily. He receives special services in school that have helped him teach him how to do things on his own. He knows how to use utensils and likes using his fingers. Alexander does very well in school, and his teachers have commented on his brilliance. Alexander enjoys playing games on his tablet and watching TV. Some of his favorite toys include cars on racetracks and balls. Alexander loves going outside and blowing bubbles. He enjoys watching other children play and laughs when kids are silly around him. Alexander has a beautiful smile and is always the first to smile when he sees you and will take you by the hand to show you something new with his interest. He is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Alexander's forever family will be a patient and understanding family. He will thrive in a family that loves the outdoors and is willing to engage with him on numerous adventures. Alexander's family will provide a structured and supportive environment for him. They will provide necessary continued supportive services for Alexander. Alexander's family will be as active as Alexander. They will understand his diagnosis and the supportive care Alexander will need.
