Braxton from Texas

Braxton is a calm and funny child. He enjoys watching lights and listening to music. He is a social child and prefers to be around others, especially outgoing children! Braxton's favorite TV shows include Paw Patrol and Mickey Mouse. He is currently learning a lot in school, including information about the ocean, the news, and is learning to read. Braxton's favorite time of the year is November-January, as he loves seeing the Christmas trees and lights decorated. He enjoys wearing festive pajamas and watching the Polar Express. Braxton is able to sit up in his wheelchair. He will require long term assistance with daily activities due to his limited mobility. He is able to communicate his needs with various facial expressions, cries, and noises. He enjoys being outdoors either sitting on the porch or going to the park.

Braxton's forever family will be very patient, knowledgeable, open to change, and willing to learn. His family will need to have other youth to interact with Braxton in a calm manner. His family will have a stay at home parent and in-home nurses to meet all of his medical needs. His parents will be caring, kind and committed. His family will have experience with working with children who have high medical needs and a background in medical care is preferred. Braxton will benefit from individual time with parents to ensure he feels loved and accepted. The family will need to continue with any and all of his service plans.
