Cortney from Texas

Cortney is a very energetic young girl who loves playing outside, walking dogs, and visiting the beach. She loves going to the pool and being artistic, whether she is drawing, coloring, or painting. Cortney enjoys attending classes for gymnastics and learning new fitness routines, such as yoga. She has volunteered at horse stables, and walks her neighborhood dogs regularly. Cortney continues to learn how to train her own dogs and does well with the responsibility of caring for them. Like many girls her age, Cortney enjoys getting her nails done and trying new styles with her hair. Cortney is interested in and she would love the opportunity to play a team sport, such as volleyball or basketball.

Cortney would like to have an active family with a single mother or two-parents. Ideally, Cortney would like to live near the beach and have animals in the home. She would like to have a sister close to her age, who she can participate in activities with and have fun on family outings together. Cortney will benefit from a family trained in understanding trauma, has patience, and a flexible schedule to provide a smoother adjustment into her new home.
