Elicio from Texas

Elicio who prefers people call him by his nickname. He is a happy boy who loves talking about turtles, animals, and art. He has a couple of stuffed turtles and loves talking about them until he can get a real one. He enjoys playing on the playground, building things, and creating art. He is a creative child. He loves to draw realistic drawings of the human eye and enjoys drawing sunsets and sunrises. He likes playing sports outside. Eli likes playing football and basketball and maybe one day would like to play for his school. He has been practicing coping skills to help him calm down when needed. He enjoys making friends, although occasionally, this can be a challenge. He strongly desires to learn new coping methods to deal with his life's challenges.

Eli's forever family will provide routine, structure, and ensure he know what the rules are. His family will be active and able to provide him with one-on- one attention and time. His family will be understanding of all his needs and be able to walk through those with him. His family will be patient with him and help provide him with the resources he needs. His family will celebrate his successes and help him to achieve his goals. He will be able to talk to his family about his problems and they will be understanding. His family will help him to navigate life's challenges.
