Elijah from Texas

Elijah is a sweet, strong, healthy, preteen boy. He is very interested in sports and enjoys playing on his football and basketball teams. Like any other boy his age, he enjoys watching cartons, YouTube Videos, and very interested in creating things with his hands. He enjoys arts and crafts, gardening, and will try any activity at least once. Some of his favorite foods include pizza and spaghetti, but he would prefer a nice stead, medium rare. Elijah is typically shy around new people until he warms up to them. He is also very honest and quick to recognize when he has done something wrong. He is a great kid and is open to learning more about many different subjects. He enjoys school and benefits from supportive services to assist him in a learning environment.

Elijah's forever family will be loving, caring, and strong. His family will provide him with a structured and stable environment. His family will build on the positives as well as set up reasonable, age appropriate limits with consequences that can be enforced consistently. His family will be a patient and understanding family. He is open to many types of families. He would love to be in a home with other children. He would also like to have a big brother to hang out with.
