Jasmine from Texas

Jasmine is a unique, big-hearted, and growing country girl. Some of her favorite things are horses, cowboy boots, reading, and socializing with her friends. Jasmine is very friendly and able to make a friend in new environments. Jasmin also enjoys relaxing indoors and playing video games, watching suspenseful shows, and playing with pets. Jasmine loves animals and dogs especially. She hopes to have a dog that can sleep with her at night and make her feel safe. She has a little bit of experience with other farm animals like horses, chickens, and goats and stated she wouldn't mind helping her forever family care for animals if they had any. Jasmine wants to grow up as either a veterinarian or an Equine Therapist. She does well with the curriculum, actively participates, and enjoys learning and attending school. Jasmin wants to learn more independence, so she craves to learn more about cooking and doing things for herself. She can be helpful around the house and is excellent at keeping her room clean and organized. Jasmine is interested in makeup and wears a minimum amount appropriate for school and her age. Jasmine might seem very girly at first sight, but she is well rounded and doesn't mind getting dirty and playing outdoors. She enjoys walking dogs, riding her bike, and going to community events outside. Jasmine would like to be a part of a basketball team or a club in school. Jasmine is a strong-willed girl with lots of dreams. She is ready to bring lots of personality to her forever home and be adopted by a family. She hopes her forever family is active, will let her have a pet dog, has a sense of humor, she is adventurous, forgiving, and is willing to create exciting family memories.

Jasmine's forever home will understand Jasmine's need to be shown unconditional love and be patient with her as she learns how to belong to a family. Jasmine needs a home with some structure and parents who can be flexible and help guide her through her decisions as she ages into adulthood. Although Jasmine is a teenager, she is a little girl emotionally. She needs to be nurtured and shown lots of affection and understanding to help her grow past her trauma and learn to develop healthy relationships. Jasmine needs parents that will encourage her to participate in extracurricular activities, stick it through for the entire season, and teach her to follow through and complete her goals. Jasmine's forever family will take the time to talk to Jasmine and take the time to build trust with her. Jasmine has had failed adoptive placements, so her forever family will need to understand the time and patience it will take to bond with Jasmine. Her forever family will need to commit to Jasmine and show her they will not give up on her as she learns to deal with the emotions that will arise as she works through her trauma and transitions into her forever home. Her new forever family will be patient and flexible. Jasmine yearns to be loved and nurtured and would love to have a fantastic mother-daughter relationship with her forever mom. She also wishes for a younger sibling with whom she can play and make memories with them.
