Jose from Texas

Jose is a sweet, athletic child who loves playing outside. Like most boys his age he loves sports. Jose enjoys basketball, football, and anything else that allows him to run. He's very fast! Jose does well in school academically. He has several favorite different subjects in school such as, reading, science, math, and writing. He also really enjoys P.E. because he gets to play sports and run around. In his downtime, Jose enjoys playing video games and watching funny YouTube videos. His favorite video game right now is Fortnite. Jose is caring and helpful, especially with children younger than he is. One of his dreams is to be able to go to Disneyland and ride all the rides he can. He is excited to have a forever family that he can play sports with and who can help make his wish come true!

Jose's forever family will be understanding and empathetic. Jose will do well in a two-parent home with strong parent figures and with very young children or teenagers. Jose may need time, structure, consistency and positive reinforcement as he adjusts to change. His family will be an active family that will help Jose explore different activities to assist him in further determining his own personal identity. Jose does have bonded relationships with some biological family that would need to be preserved with ongoing appropriate contact as this is important to Jose. His adoptive family would need to not only be understanding but also willing to facilitate this ongoing contact with the appropriate family members.
