Jose from Texas

Jose is a very handsome young man, his smile lights up a room and is contagious. He is a very sweet teen who loves helping others and socializing with his peers. He can be shy at first but does warm up quickly and is very engaging. His personality shines when he is given the opportunity to be himself. Jose is quick witted and knows just what to say to make you laugh. He loves sports, football and basketball are his favorites. He does very well in school and although he does not care for it, he is committed to graduating high school. He plans to go to college but he has not yet settled on a career path. Jose has worked at a part time job and did well with it. He enjoys helping in the kitchen, learning to cook as well as watching tv, listening to music and shopping. Jose loves to shop and pick out clothes and shoes that look good. He prides himself on his clothing and always being clean cut. Jose is a very resilient young man who continues to work on learning skills to manage his big emotions. He is open to adoption and hopes to find a family that he fits with.

Jose is passionate about wanting his own family and to feel included. He will respond well to a mom and dad in the home. Although, he favors a one-parent home with a mother. Jose's forever will be compassionate and patient with him. He wants a family with either no children or few other children in the home. While Jose gets along with other children very well, he would prefer not to have many siblings. Jose will thrive in a family with structure and clear rules and boundaries, as he can be rambunctious at times. He would like a home with a yard where he can play catch. Jose's ideal family will be one who enjoys trips to the movies, especially movies that make him laugh.
