Lynette from Texas

Lynette loves spending one on one time with people. She can be shy upon first meeting, but she has a very warm and loving personality once she feels comfortable. She loves to talk, she likes to color, craft, and do art. She has an interest in sports and other organized activities and she would jump at the opportunity to be involved in extra-curricular activities. Lynette is still trying to find exactly where she fits in with her peers but can make friends easily. She has the desire to do well in school and to make her teachers and parents proud. Lynette loves music and really enjoys finding new music to listen to. She really enjoys animals and spending time with and taking care of animals. Lynette is very close to her younger sister, who is not a part of this adoption, and she hopes that her forever family will support her in keeping in contact with her sister and appropriate family.

Lynette's forever family will love her unconditionally. Her forever parents will provide her stability, commitment, and show her they are by her side no matter what. Lynette's family will also suggest and try new activities with her while she finds what makes her happiest. Finding activities to do together will help her to build strong and lasting bonds with her new family. Her family will be a small family who either doesn't have other children or who has one or two other children that are very secure and stable in who they are and could be a good example for Lynette. Her family will be strong advocates for her education and needs and ensure she receives the best available support. Her family will help her with her homework and will encourage her. Lynette's mom will enjoy an occasional girl trip to the nail salon and her dad will take her fishing and spend quality time with her. Lynette's family will work with her to meet her full potential as she navigates life as a teenager.
