Ma'leyiah from Texas

Ma'Leyiah is a loving child who likes to show affection. She expresses her happiness by smiling often. Not only is she affectionate towards her caretakers, she also loves to hug her teddy bears as well. Ma'Leyiah is very focused when it is time to complete a task. She enjoys arts and crafts, playing with toys, using electronics, drawing, and watching television. Ma'leyiah is very meticulous with her writing and organizing her room. Her vocabulary is expanding as she is learning more American Sign Language. Ma'Leyiah enjoys being outside and playing basketball, going for walks, and swimming. Some of her favorite things to eat are cereal, hamburgers, and pizza. Ma'leyiah is also a good sport when it comes to extracurricular activities. So far she has enjoyed yoga, horseback riding, and dance!

Ma'Leyiah will benefit from a family who is patient and understanding of her needs. Her family should have knowledge and understanding of youth who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and utilizes ASL to communicate with her. Ma'Leyiah will benefit from a family without many other children in the home.
