Ruben from Texas

Ruben is a friendly and reserved young boy both at home and school. He is extremely active and enjoys playing football, basketball, soccer, and anything entailing with sports. His passion, though, is playing the guitar and accordion. Ruben is very passionate about playing in the local mariachi at his school. Mariachi is a form of Mexican folk style music. Ruben enjoys mariachi as he loves the Disney movie Coco and discovered his passion and love for music and his Mexican culture through the movie. He also likes playing video games on his PlayStation 4 and enjoys playing different genres of games. Ruben comes off as shy and guarded when he first meets someone new, but once he feels comfortable with the person, he will become very social and friendly.

Ruben wishes to be adopted by a loving, caring, and accepting family of the person Ruben is and identifies with. He would benefit from a family that has older children to ensure healthy family dynamics are always ongoing. Ruben would benefit from a family that will provide support, guidance and love him. He will need a family that will be patient with him in opening up and expressing his feelings, and understand where he is coming from.
