Jordan, 14 My Favorite Things: I like food, four wheeling, playing video games, family time watching movies, roller blading, go-karts, biking and dogs. Things I do not like: I do not like loud noises or yelling. Favorite Foods: Pizza, cheeseburgers, Spanish food, spicy food, Chinese food and tuna melts. What I want in a family: I want a nice, un-yelling family, who can take care of me and buy me stuff when I need it. What I want families to know about me: I want families to know that I am a cool kid and a nice person with a kind heart. I can do a lot cleaning around the house and stuff, go biking and train dogs. What we want families to know about the youth: Jordan is looking for a two-parent family with no younger children to give Jordan time to adjust and settle into a new family. A family who is open and willing to be part of a team to help and watch Jordan grow. A family who can provide structure and consistency. A family willing to help Jordan learn his talents and develop new ones. In addition, parents whom: • Have an active household • Can provide a nurturing environment, set clear and firm limits, and provide consistent boundaries • Understands Early Developmental Trauma or are willing to learn • Are willing to participate in any recommended trainings and therapy sessions; • Can be patient and loving even when his behaviors are a challenge; • Can be affectionate and patient; and • Are energetic, outgoing, and active.
