Where it All Began:
We met through mutual friends on a blind date. We felt and instant connection and so began our story. We dated, got engaged, and married all within 11 months. It definitely seemed like a "whirlwind love", but looking back, we wouldn't change a thing. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives. You could literally feel the love within the church walls. It was magic!
Our Why:
We knew we wanted adoption to be a part of our story. We had experienced the love and support it brought to life with the adopted members of Jordan's family. So when we got married 6 years ago, our plan was to have biological children first, then adopt. But when we had 2 miscarriages the heartache that it brought prompted us to adopt 1st. If our wis...
If our wish of having a baby was granted in those first few years of marriage, we would have never known Jet. God put our plans on hold and redirected us to His own perfect plan of adopting Jet. Since bringing him home 2 years ago we have had 2 more miscarriages. Our testimony shows that even through the pain, God can lead you to beautiful places.
Azlynn was raised on a dairy farm. She attended and graduated from private school. She grew up playing sports and even played soccer in college. Azlynn graduated from college with 2 Agriculture Degrees. One of her greatest joys is helping Jet learn and grow every day at home. After a lot of conversation and prayer, we have decided that Azlynn will continue to stay home with the children. She is looking forward to that time that she can love on and pour into our children.
Meet Jordan:
Jordan was raised on a farm just like Azlynn. He graduated from public school and attended the local community college. Jordan works for his family farm, because it truly is his passion. When he's not at work, he loves being able to come home and spend time together with Jet while Azlynn cooks dinner and he enjoys putting Jet to bed every night. He loves when Azlynn and Jet come ride with him on the tractors while he is at work.
Meet Jet:
We adopted Jet in May of 2020. He is full of life and keeps us on our toes. He loves tractors, the beach, riding on the boat, spice drink(sprite), cows, swimming, and his pup Birdie. He adores his cousins and loves spending time with them too. He loves a good dance party in the kitchen while we are cooking or baking. He loves to help us in the kitchen. Whether it is singing his abc's or telling you the different parts of a tractor, his knowledge amazes us all. We love getting the to travel with him. He has already been to 9 states. His favorite trip so far has been to Disney World. He captures the heart of everyone he meets with his little "bye-bye" and sweet "I lub you." We are so proud and thankful for the opportunity to raise this smart, energetic, funny, little boy. We know without a doubt that he would be a wonderful, big brother.
If you choose to pursue an adoption plan with us, we promise to love you and your child unconditionally. We promise to support your child emotionally, financially, and to give them the best education possible. We promise to provide a safe and stable home where your child will always know they can express themselves. We promise to have dance parties in the kitchen as often as possible. We promise to laugh, cry, and love through the hard times. We promise to offer hugs, kisses, and support to your child as they navigate the emotions around their adoption.
We will always be committed to doing the best that we can for your child, no matter what.
