Our Wedding Day
Our Story

We greatly appreciate the tremendous amount of love you have for your child, and we are honored to be considered as adoptive parents.

Dear Expectant Parents, we know you are at a challenging time in your life, and we admire your courage in the difficult decision you are making. It is impossible for us to imagine how you must be feeling at this time. We greatly appreciate the tremendous amount of love you have for your child, and we are honored to be considered as adoptive parents. When we discovered that we would not be able to have more than one biological child, we were eventually led to understand that the best way for us to grow our family would be through adoption. In 2011 we were blessed to welcome our son, Charlie, into our family. He brings so much joy to our lives, and we feel privileged to be his parents. He is excited to have a baby brother or sister join him soon. We actively teach him about what it means...

He is excited to have a baby brother or sister join him soon. We actively teach him about what it means to adopt and how he can be a good big brother. He is so excited about having a sibling that he prays every night for one to be added to our family. He also likes to “practice” being a big brother by helping and playing with his younger cousins and neighbors.

Craig and Lisa

We are very proud of our home-we built it ourselves!

Midway Ice Castles
We have been married for 12 years, and we can't imagine our lives without each other! We met at Utah State University and are True Blooded Aggies! We love to watch baseball-especially the Houston Astros. We have loved taking adventures together. Seven months after we got married, we moved far away from our families to Houston, Texas. We spent 8 years exploring Texas and loving the people and culture there. We are very proud of our home-we built it ourselves! We participated in a program with nine other families to help each other build our ten homes. We have continued to work hard to build a home centered on Jesus Christ and have a strong desire to help all those who enter our home feel His love. Craig is a very hard-working, kind, and funny person. He teaches fourth grade and is currently working on his master's degree in School Counseling. He's passionate about wood working and cooking outdoors on his charcoal smoker-Texas style! Lisa is a very patient and kind wife and mother who spends most of her time tirelessly caring for our family. She received a bachelor's degree in Sociology which has been extremely beneficial in raising our son. She can't go a day without listening to music. She has a beautiful singing voice and loves to play the piano. Lisa's creative side shines when she sews, crochets, and crafts it up! When we are feeling lazy, we binge watch, build Legos, and eat not healthy treats. We have a lot of love in our home and want to share it with others.
Charlie

Charlie is also a little bookworm who tries to stay up late reading every night.

Our crazy boy
Charlie is a very spirited social butterfly. He is in 4th grade and is learning Spanish through the school district's dual immersion program. He is a very kind and sensitive kid who is always trying to help others. He is obsessed with playing Minecraft, Roblox, and any other video game he can get his hands on. If we didn't limit his screen time he would never eat or sleep. He rides his bike all over the neighborhood with his friends, and if you ask him, he is definitely the fasted kid alive. He has inherited a love for music from his mom! He even uses songs from his mom's iTunes library as a tooth brushing timer. Charlie is also a little bookworm who tries to stay up late reading every night. He enjoys books like Wayside School, Dog Man, graphic novels, and non-fiction books about insects, sharks, rocks, and animals.
Our Family

We look forward to getting to know and love you!

Halloween
We get a little rambunctious playing catch, soccer, and football in our backyard that we worked hard to make an escape from daily life. We eat a few too many roasted marshmallows from our firepit while we enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains. One of our favorite road trips was to Dallas where we went to the aquarium, an indoor playground and arcade, and the Lego Discovery Center. Speaking of Legos, we are a little obsessed! We like to build, play with, and display a large variety of Lego sets as a family. Some of our favorites include the Millennium Falcon, Hogwarts Castle, the Tardis, and making up builds as we go. We are all major geeks who love Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Marvel, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. FanX Salt Lake is a must for us!
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this difficult time. We look forward to getting to know and love you! We want you and your child to know each other and have a relationship that is as involved as you are comfortable. Together we can surround this sweet child with love.
