Please know that we will continue to pray for you each day. We believe God has a plan for each of us and we are ecstatic to meet you.

Derek and I both want you to know that we think you are incredibly brave for choosing adoption for your child. We admire you so much and we want you to know that if you choose us as your child’s adoptive parents, we will give your baby all the love in the world. We were never able to have children of our own. We went through infertility, and it was diagnosed as unexplained. Our why is to be parents. All we’ve ever wanted was to be parents and love a child of our own. We are open to whatever you feel is right for you as to how you will be a part of his/her life, and we understand that this might change along the way. Your child will know how much you loved them from the very beginning and how selfless you were in making this decision. If you choose us, we will cherish, love, and support your child every single day. Becoming parents means so much to us and we are thrilled to complete our family through adoption. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for considering us to be your child’s adoptive parents.

Derek and I met online. It wasn’t the modern online kind of meeting, but rather the old fashioned way through AOL chatroom. We talked that way for a long time before meeting. One day we decided to meet up with lots of friends surrounding us at a dancehall. I was afraid to tell my friends and family how we met because back then it was so new to meet that way. But from that night on, we never stopped talking. We dated for one year and then got engaged. We have been married for nearly 20 years now.

When our families found out that we had chosen adoption, they were overjoyed with tons of emotions. Happy tears flowed from many and loud cheers from others. They are ecstatic to say the least! Derek and I are both very close to our parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. We cannot wait to bring a baby into our family! There is already an astounding amount of love and support being thrown our way, I can’t imagine what it will be like when the baby finally comes home with us. Logistically, Kelly’s mom, sister and niece are just two miles away from us. Derek’s parents are only 11 miles, and his siblings and their families are within 45 minutes and live on acreage.
