Dear Expectant Parent,

We are here to answer any questions you may have. Thank you again for considering us as you make this courageous decision.

Our Story

Surrounded by family and friends

Fall 2020
Manny and Jordan met at the University of Northern Arizona in 2011 and became good friends immediately. After a few months of friendship, they began dating. Manny was drawn to Jordan by her intelligence, and kindness. Jordan was attracted to Manny's adventurous spirit, and sense of humor. They were married in the summer of 2014, surrounded by friends and family.

In 2018 Savannah joined the family through adoption. By 2020 they started talking about their hope to expand the family, and after moving to Louisiana in early 2022 they started a home study right away.
Our Hobbies

On sunny days you can find us outside

Hiking as a family
On sunny days you can find us outside hiking, walking, bike-riding, paddling and swimming. We frequently visit zoos, aquariums, and the Children's Adventure Center in our area. On rainy days, we like to put on some our favorite Disney movies with a big bowl of popcorn or visit the library.

We enjoy travelling. Experiencing other cultures, trying new foods, and exploring the great outdoors is important to us. Every few years, Jordan's family does a big trip to Disney World, and each summer we meet up with friends from college at a lake house.
Recently, on a trip to Texas we took Savannah to her first Major League Baseball game, and she loved it! We see more sports events in our future.

Meet Jordan

Jordan was raised in an Air Force family, and moved all over the country while growing up. In high school she enjoyed English class and history. She was a member of the swim team, and student council. Jordan loves being outdoors. She likes nature walks, swimming, and paddle boarding. She enjoys reading historical fiction and cooking. She is currently learning how to make some of her favorite Thai recipes. As a mama, Jordan is empathetic and playful. Some of her favorite activities to do with Savannah is to play with play-doh, read, and paint.

Meet Manny

Manny was adopted as an infant and grew up in Arizona. He is an only child, and very close to his parents. In high school, he played a wide variety of sports but lacrosse was his passion. He also participated in jazz band. His favorite subjects were science and social studies. Manny is extremely active and enjoys all sports. He likes to hike, play soccer with Savannah in the backyard, and cheer for the New England Patriots. He is an energetic dad, always encouraging Savannah to try to things. One of their favorite activities together is to go to the trampoline park. Manny's Sunday tradition is to grill fajitas and make his favorite salsa recipe for our family and friends.

Meet Savannah

Savannah is a bright, and fun-loving four-year-old. She loves going to gymnastics class and wants to join a soccer team. She enjoys playing dress-up, riding her bike, swimming, playing with legos and painting. Savannah joined our family in 2018 through adoption. We have an open relationship with her birth mama, and we actively seek out ways to keep her connected to her Native American heritage. She is THRILLED at the idea of being a big sister.
