We are home study approved and ready to welcome a new baby! We have felt (both before marriage and during marriage) that our little family would be created through adoption and we are excited to move forward.

She loves to laugh and you can’t be around her without feeling upbeat and happy.
Amy is the kindest person I know. She has a big heart and is often thinking about others. Her favorite thing to do is to help someone. In addition to being kind and loving, I would describe Amy as fun. She loves to laugh and you can’t be around her without feeling upbeat and happy. Amy loves music and she is more talented than she thinks she is! Amy sings in our church choir, writes her own songs, and plays the piano and ukulele. Hiking, jogging, and other outdoor activities are her other passions. If it is a nice day, Amy will definitely be outside doing something.
Amy is also one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met. And last, but not least, Amy has a great testimony of and love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the foundation of all that she does. I know Amy will be an awesome mother because she will love our children so much, and they will know they are loved!

Shaun really fun to be with and has a great sense of humor.
Shaun is a wonderful husband and my best friend. I feel so blessed to have him as my husband. Shaun is kind, loving, funny, and intelligent and will be an amazing Dad! He has a quiet confidence that is attractive. He is very mild-mannered and calm and doesn’t need praise for his accomplishments. He loves to serve others and has a desire to do what is right. One of the first things that attracted me to him was his desire to help others and his love for the Lord. He has strong faith and puts the Lord first in all of his decisions. He is generous with his time and pulls over to help people in stranded cars on the side of the road. He delivers meals to home-bound people once a week, he takes out the trash for a neighbor, shovels snow, helps people move, etc...
One of Shaun’s qualities that I really admire is his ability to look at the big picture. He is very logical and great at math and science! He is excited to help our kids with homework. Shaun is really fun to be with and has a great sense of humor. When we helped with my twin nieces’ birthday party, he was the leader of a relay group and the kids LOVED him. We love opportunities to volunteer for children’s activities at the school and he is so fun with the kids. These and many other experiences have made me excited for him to become a Dad.

A Little About Us
A little about us: We met about nine years ago at a dinner party. We both had a mutual friend who hosted an event for about 30 people. We ended up sitting next to each other. We liked each other, but were both a little shy about it. Amy: When Shaun called, I was really excited to talk to him, and we went on our first two dates (frozen yogurt, and then to see the lights at temple square). We hit it off and had more fun dates like tubing and movies, and Shaun even brought over some tools and fixed a few things around the house! Most importantly, we laughed a lot! We both love hiking and kayaking and doing things outdoors, But we also both love plays and musicals and the symphony. We both agree that the day we got married was the best day of our lives! We are so grateful for each other and we'd love to share the joy we have.
