Our Team

Celebrating life together is our favorite thing!

Our family visited Disney Land for the first time in 2018.
We like to refer to our family as a team because we rely and depend on each other every day! We know how important cooperation, selflessness, and fun are for a healthy team environment.

Sean and Chelsea have been married for 13 years and have two biological children that are almost 8 and 10. Our children are very excited to have the opportunity to love more siblings!

Our absolute favorite thing to do is spend time together! What do we like to do when we are together? We often spend our time taking road trips, playing horseshoes with our extended family, cheering on our children at their sporting and musical events, and taking walks or bike rides through our neighborhood or hiking the Colorado Rockies.

About Sean

-He grew up in a small rural town, but has NEVER milked a cow.

- He loves playing and watching sports. He played basketball and baseball in high school. The Avalanche recently won the Stanley Cup and Sean was all about it.

- As a senior in high school, he ranked 13th in Colorado in scoring for high school basketball.

- He has canoed the Colorado River.

- He served a mission in San Jose, California for two years.

- He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.

- He works as a religious educator for The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints and teaches mostly high school students.

- He has a secret talent for music. He can sing and play the piano!

- He loves anything with chocolate in it, but especially his mom's chocolate cake!

- He loves to run around and have fun with our son and daughter. They love to play games, video games, and sports together.

About Chelsea

- She grew up in the Denver Metro area.

- She has performed in 12 different plays and musicals and countless other choir performances, including Colorado All-State Choir.

- She directed an adult women's ensemble for two years and was the Music Director for A Christmas Carol in 2019. She currently directs the music program for the children at our church.

- She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Business Management.

- She loves the show Gilmore Girls. Oy with the poodles already!

- She teaches voice lessons out of our home.

- She volunteered in the emergency room at our local hospital.

- She has been to 30 of the 50 United States! She wants to go to the New England area next.

- She has experienced three late-term miscarriages. A late-term miscarriage happens after 12 weeks and each one was traumatic for us. One of these miscarriages happened when Chelsea was 19 weeks pregnant. After the baby was delivered, we learned that it was a sweet baby boy.

- She has a flexible schedule and is able to be there for our kids anytime she needs to be! They love reading, singing, and going on adventures together!
Partners In Parenthood

We want to honor the great love that you have for your child!

Here we are in our first year of marriage. It captured our partnership then and continues to capture our relationship together today.
Together, we have worked as partners in parenthood and we share all parental responsibilities. Chelsea and Sean have both changed diapers, bottle fed, played with, and cared for our children while they were babies. Now that they are older, we share responsibilities in making meals, doing laundry, helping them with homework, teaching them how to do chores, and supporting them in their activities. Both of us have a deep love and respect for the other and trust each other completely to make appropriate decisions for our family.

Chelsea's Thoughts About Sean

From the first day of my very first pregnancy, Sean has been an invested and devoted father. He has been so excited about participating in the lives of his children and he does participate in their lives as often as he can!

Sean is our son's best friend and our daughter's source of peace. His constant influence in the lives of our children has helped them feel gratitude, understand how to serve others, and have SO much fun! He is a natural teacher and I'm often amazed at how well he can teach our children new things.

Sean is a fun-loving person and he can always make me smile. He has the perception that things will always work out which helps inspire me to keep going. We complement each other in our strengths and weaknesses. He has been the perfect partner for me, offering support and care in helpful and meaningful ways. He is the first to volunteer to help out in our home and helps everyone feel like they belong.

I am so grateful for him and for the love, kindness, and hard work he puts into our family!

Sean's Thoughts About Chelsea

I remember having a conversation with a trusted adult in my life back when I had just met Chelsea and
was interested in dating her. As the conversation turned to my interest in Chelsea, he simply said,
“She’s the real deal!” I can’t think of a better compliment to give to Chelsea other than to say that she
has proven to be “the real deal” everyday of our 13 years of marriage.
From the first moment I met Chelsea, I just knew I wanted to be around her as much as I possibly could.

Chelsea has a genuinely sincere and kind heart. She has a strong desire to do what is right and to make
it easy for the people in her life to do what is right.
Chelsea lives in gratitude for the good things in her life, and she encourages our family to share what we
have with others. If Chelsea inherited a large quantity of money or possessions, she would most want to
give it away to bless the lives of others.

Chelsea is the source of all creative fun for our family. She loves planning activities for our family that are themed around holidays, and its not just the major
holidays. Two of our family favorites are a fun April Fools Day dinner service and a celebration of our
ancestors for Dia de Los Muertos.

Chelsea is very intelligent, hard working and capable of anything. When there is a job in our church or in
our community that needs to be filled, I always think of Chelsea as the perfect person for the job! With that being said, Chelsea has sacrificed so many worldly opportunities and honors to be a stay at home
mother and be available 24/7 for her children and our family. Her devotion to our children and to me inspires me to try to be the best version of myself that I can be for our family.
I am a fortunate and blessed man to be partnered up with Chelsea.

She’s the real deal!

Our Kids' Thoughts On Our Home

Our Daughter

There are so many things I love about my family! We strive for kindness! We do things together and have fun. We have close relationships and enjoy doing nice things for other people.

Our Son

I love my family! We work together to make our house feel nice inside. We try to be respectful to each other too.
Waiting On Our Miracle

We are waiting on our next miracle child through adoption!

We are honored to be parents to our biological children and we hope to have the opportunity to love more children through adoption!
Every child is a miracle, but at the time we did not know just how miraculous the births of our daughter and son truly were! We thought that having children would come easy for us, but that has not been the case. Our children have brought so much love and joy into our home and we cannot imagine what life would be like without each of their funny, smart, talented, and beautiful personalities. Though the doctors do not know why we continue to lose babies after the first trimester, there is a high chance that it would happen again if we chose to become pregnant.
Now we have the opportunity to wait on other miracle babies to join our family through adoption! We have no doubt that these miracles are meant to be in our home and we are excited to start that journey with you!

Open Adoption

Through our extensive training in preparation for adoption, we have learned how important it is for a child to maintain contact with his/her birth family. We hope to provide a loving relationship for our adopted child(ren) with their birth family through open adoption. We understand that every situation is different though and we are open to other types of adoption if an open adoption is not right for you.

Thank You!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know our family! We know that you want the absolute best for your child and we promise to do our absolute best for them! Wherever this journey takes you, we hope that you and your child feels loved, cared for, and special!

We look forward to hearing from you!
