First of all, if you’ve found yourself here, my heart goes out to you. You’ve got a decision ahead of you that is probably the hardest thing you’ll ever do. If you’ve found yourself here on this page, I encourage you to take your time and look at everything this family have written and shared. In short, if you could pick your own parents, you’d certainly choose them! For your little one on the way, I know personally you want the absolute best. That’s who you’ll find here. They are very unique in that they are so informed, educated about healthy living, active, and always busy doing fun, family activities. This is the family you want to be a part of! And that’s how they make us feel—like we are a part of the family, too. I get updates and pictures exactly how we had pre-agreed upon, which is amazing! I feel like I have a very active role in my son’s life.
Katie, all I can say, is an INCREDBILE mom! She’s got seemingly endless energy and patience and unconditional love. She’s up for a challenge and she couldn’t be any more genuinely kind and considerate. She has come to be my good friend and I am SO blessed that she chose to raise my son. Scott is quiet and gentle. He’s a hands-on dad and quick to jump in and play! My greatest impression of Scott is that Katie couldn’t be the unstoppable force of nature she is, without the support of the amazing husband she has. He leads this family and they are off to great places! My son has a great father. And L is a very loving, playful big brother. All C wants to do is be just like L! I pray they stay best friends forever.
Well, expectant mother, I don’t envy you. You have a tough decision ahead, but I hope you see how happy and blessed I am to have chosen this family. This was the right family for me and I hope you find the right family for you. <3

Being a birth mother I had to make the right decision for my baby and come to one of the hardest decisions of my life. I knew right from the moment I met Katie and Scott that they were the ones that would be the perfect parents. We have agreed on an open adoption and I couldn’t be happier. They have been supportive, genuinely interested in getting to know who I am, very open, and they involve me as much as they can in L’s life. I love getting pictures and videos and knowing without a doubt L is where he belongs and he is having the best life. I couldn’t imagine it any other way. It has not only helped me emotionally heal but it has also overwhelmed me with peace and love.
Katie and Scott have made me feel that this adoption journey is nothing but an extension of family. And I just have to say that I’m always a little jealous of the fun adventures they take L on and all of the family vacations! But it makes me so happy that they do!

I have known Scott & Katie for a bit now and know that they are a great couple who would be exceptional parents! Any child that will be welcomed into their home, will be surrounded with love, morals, and strong family values. Scott & Katie have been on the same page in life since their early adolescent years. Their marriage is strong. They are both willing to give a helping hand and are very sincere people. Even though I am sure Scott cheats in ping pong and Scrabble, they are both very honest. Haha! In all seriousness, any child they are blessed to have, will be raised with structure & discipline, compassion, and most importantly love and understanding of the world we live in today. It is without a doubt, that Scott & Katie are your perfect & ideal adoptive parents!

Katie and Scott are one of the most down-to-earth, fun, friendly, well-rounded, honest, and reliable couples I have met! There is always a good, positive feeling when I'm around them. They are naturally gifted with kids. My children adore them and Scott and Katie make them happy and feel special. My husband and I have asked them to babysit our three girls and our older, 5 and 3 year olds, are excited when we ask them to babysit. We fully trust that they are in good hands with both Katie and Scott when we leave them in their care. When we meet in our cul-de-sac and start talking, they speak with and interact well with our girls and we can see that it makes our girls happy. I have a good, peaceful feeling when I am in their home. They put religion first in their life and they have a strong marriage. I know Scott and Katie will be amazing parents who will love whoever comes into their home.

I've been best friends with Katie, since we were 5
Having a child of my own, I know it would take a very special couple to intrust my child to. I would want someone who would love and care for my child like their own. I know without a doubt that Scott and Katie would meet that criteria. They are both so kind, patient and loving and would be able to provide a safe and happy home. Any child would be so lucky to have these two as parents!

Best friend
Scott and Katie have been our best friends for three years (ever since the Britt of our first son). Since then we have gone on many adventures together! We love to travel to the sand dunes together and often get together for dinner and games. We move when it is Scott's turn to cook because he makes the very best homemade Asian food! Katie also bakes delicious treats. Both Scott and Katie are so kind and thoughtful. Recently our second child was born (a little girl) and when they came to visit they brought our three year old son all of his favorite things. It made his day! Our 3+ years of friendship is characterized with actions like this. They are quick to lend a helping hand, take the time to make people's day brighter (especially my toddler) and always ready to have fun. Their marriage is built on a pillar of friendship and trust. Scott and Katie truly are an amazing couple!!
