Jayden from Vermont

Jayden, 12-year-old My Favorite Things: My favorite activity is riding my bike. I also like to play video games, marbles, four square, and sports such as soccer and baseball (go Red Sox!). I love to laugh. I really like cats and dogs. Things I do not like: I do not like seafood of any kind and I do not like school. Favorite Foods: I like a lot of food and my favorite right now is pancakes. What I want in a family: I want a family who are active and like to spend time outside. I would be excited to have a family who know how to ride dirt bikes. It is very important to me to have a bike wherever I live. I would also like to have two parents and other children in the home who are my age. What I want families to know about me: I like to be liked, but sometimes I make mistakes. I like to be included and want to do well at school and home. What we want families to know about the youth: Jayden is kind and curious. He is good at building things and is mechanically inclined. He needs a family who can provide close supervision to ensure Jayden is making safe choices. Jayden would do best with a trauma informed family who are patient, good role models, and willing to teach him acceptable social behavior. Jayden would be most successful living with parents who are willing to work with service providers such as case managers and therapists to ensure his needs are being met.
