A favorite memory: Doing the Hiawatha trail! We biked 15 miles going through 10 train tunnels and across 7 sky-high trestle bridges all on our tandem bike while pulling Mika behind us.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. This is one of my favorite family costumes. Where the Wild Things Are - Let the wild rumpus start!
We love rock climbing...
...rappelling...
...and caving!
One of our favorite places ever is Samoa. Joel lived there for two years for a service mission.
One of our favorite traditions is cutting down our own Christmas tree...
...and of course matching pajama's on Christmas Eve.
We love matching!
Another favorite memory: Sending our wishes in the air during the lantern festival. I of course wrote on my lantern my desire to adopt again!
Cooper's favorite thing is playing with the hose and Mika loves playing with him!
We are currently building our new house and Mika's favorite thing to do is go to the lot and "work" with dad.
Recently, Syna has taken a few art classes. She loves being creative and doing arts and crafts with Mika.
Joel's favorite thing to do is Ski Sky. Mika loves to sit on dad's lap so he can join in on the fun!
We love to travel! Mika has flown to Hawaii, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, California and Colorado with us.
We love backpacking! It is so satisfying being able to survive on only what you can bring on your back.
Joel loves sports! He enjoys playing and watching football, basketball, and soccer. Here he is in Cambodia playing soccer with the locals.
Another favorite memory: Building "Sandy the Sexy Snow Woman" complete with false lashes and a floral crown! Best snow day ever!
Syna loves to read! She enjoys reading just about anything but is keen to historical fiction. History fascinates her. (Her 1940's styled shoot)
Syna is a make-up artist and her favorite is special effects make-up. She loves all things spooky! For halloween one year we were "Clumsy Climbers"
